- Feast of the Week: On 17th is the feast of Seven Holy Founders of Servite Order and wish the Servite sisters in our parish a very Happy Feast.
- Lent is a preparation for the celebration of Easter. The faithful are called to prepare for the celebration of paschal mystery by doing penance. Hence there will be no Gloria and alleluia in the ordinary masses. Ash Wednesday is on 14th February and it’s a day of Fast and Abstinence.
- On Ash Wednesday the masses will be as follows: English: 5.45 am, 8.00 am & 7.00 pm. Tamil: 6.30 am, 11.00 am, & 5.15 pm. In Kannada: 7.15 am & 6.00 pm. Ashes will be blessed after the homily but distributed after the mass outside the church by Fathers, sisters and brothers. Please maintain order and prayerfully receive the ashes. Do not enter the sacristy to collect the ashes.
- Way of the cross on Fridays: English: 5.30 am, 7.30 am & 6.30 pm. Tamil: 11.00 am & 7.00 pm. Kannada: 5.15 pm.
- Society of St. Vincent de Paul thanks the parishioners for the very good support for their food festival last Sunday. The total sales amounted to Rs. 2,88,475.
- Feb 16th is the teachers’ constituency election. We request all the teachers to go and vote first thing before 8 am to make sure someone else has not voted on your behalf.
- St. Alphonsus Academy is issuing Admission forms on 17th Feb from Classes Nursery to Pre-University College.
