29th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Mission Sunday Announcements

1. Today we celebrate Mission Sunday. Mission Sunday is the Holy Father’s annual appeal for spiritual and financial support, ensuring that the life-giving work of overseas missions and missionaries can continue by being witnesses of the Gospel. Your every rupee will be used for this purpose. Please donate generously.
2. Feasts of the Week:
   • 22^nd Wednesday – St. John Paul II
   • 24^th Friday – St. Anthony Mary Claret
3. This week the stalls are occupied by the SCC groups of Lingarajapuram and Bagalur Layouts. Kindly patronize these stalls and support the missions. Your small contribution will surely be a great support for evangelization.
4. We thank the SCC groups of Kariyanapalya, HBR Layout, and Pillana Garden 1^st Stage for the last week’s food stalls. The total contributions they made through food stalls and donations amounted to Rs. 1,93,120/-.
5. On 1^st November is the Feast of All Saints and Karnataka Rajyotsava. The flag hoisting will be at 7:45 am followed by a grand Mass. You are all welcome. We request all those who have scored above 80% in Kannada language to register at the parish office. They will be honoured on 1^st November.
6. On 1^st November, there will be Mass at Kalpalli Cemetery in Kannada by Holy Ghost Church. On 2^nd November there will be Masses throughout the day beginning from 10:00 am, and a 3:00 pm Tamil Mass celebrated by Holy Ghost Church. For more details kindly look at the notice board.
7. Parish Friends of Jesus Youth is organizing a Talent Hunt event in November. Those who would like to participate may enroll your names outside the church.
8. Infant Jesus Shrine, Viveknagar will conduct mass marriage for poor families on 11^th January 2026. A golden jubilee couples gathering is also organized. Those interested may register their names at the parish office.
9. The Redemptorist Mass Companion 2026 (Bible Diary) is available at the Holy Redeemer’s Store.
10. St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, R.T. Nagar is celebrating its feast on 23^rd October 2025. For more details kindly look at the notice board.
11. Retrouvaille Bangalore will be conducting a weekend residential program for married couples from 31^st October to 2^nd November at NBCLC. For more details kindly look at the notice board.
