Feast of Pentecost

1. Today we celebrate the feast of Pentecost and our Church feast. Wish you all a happy feast. May all of us be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit to live as the loving disciples of Jesus.
2. Feasts of the Week:
   • 09^th, Mary Mother of the Church, Memoria
   • 11^th, St. Barnabas, Apostle
   • 13^th, St. Anthony of Padua
3. Next Sunday is the Solemnity of Holy Trinity.
4. We thank the Holy Ghost Church Holy Spirit Prayer group for decorating the church.
5. English Catechism classes will begin with Mass from next Sunday 15^th June at St. Alphonsus Academy.
6. Parish Council meeting will be on 10^th of June. We request all the members to attend this meeting.
7. As in the past, we will be giving education aid to Catholic students of our parish only, who are economically very poor and studying from 01^st Standard to II^nd PUC within the boundary of Frazer Town to Hennur Ring Road.
   
   Conditions to avail the education aid are:
   • No ICSE schools included
   • Students have to bring: family book, catechism attendance card, school report card
   • Church subscription should be paid
   • Received the sacraments
   • Parents must come to collect the forms
   The scholarship forms will be distributed from 9^th of June till 13^th of June, Monday to Friday between 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM only.
   Those who receive the aid from the Bishop’s House and the Society of Vincent De Paul should not apply for the scholarship from the Parish.
8. The marriage bureau will remain closed till 15^th of June due to maintenance and update of the site. Kindly cooperate.
9. On behalf of the Parish Clergy and on your behalf we thank Rev. Fr. Sandeep for his selfless service for the past two years in our parish. He got transferred from our parish to the Redemptorist Media Centre. We also welcome Rev. Fr. Gerald Solomon as new Assistant Parish Priest. Fr. Gerald Solomon will be available in the office on Thursdays and Saturdays.
10. The Easter Blessings in Pillana Garden I^st Stage, Kariyanapalya, HBR Layout, Davis Road, North Road, Hutchins Road, Sagaypuram and some other places in front of the Church are over. If any houses are missed out, kindly contact the parish clergy.
