5^th Sunday of OT

NOTICE :– 4^th Sunday of OT – 9^th Feb 2025

1. Today is the day of Consecrated Life. Let’s pray for all the religious priests, sisters, and brothers.
2. Thank you all once again for your cooperation in celebrating the feast of Mother of Perpetual Help in a meaningful way.
3. Feasts of the Week:
   • 4^th, Tuesday – St. John De Britto
   • 5^th, Wednesday – St. Agatha
   • 6^th, Thursday – St. Paul Miki and Companions
   • 7^th, Friday – St. Gonsalo Gracia
4. 6^th, Thursday is the first Thursday of the month. There will be a novena to Mother of Perpetual Help in Tamil at 11:00 am.
5. 7^th February is First Friday. Adoration timings:
   • English – 7:30 am
   • Tamil – 5:30 pm
   • Kannada – 6:30 pm
6. The Jubilee Cross will visit our Parish on the 8^th and 9^th of this month. It has a relic of the True Cross mounted on it.

   Schedule:

   • 9:30 am – Welcome Ceremony
   • 10:00 am – Mass in Kannada
   • 11:00 am – Mass in Tamil
   • 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm – Veneration by Lingarajapuram & Bagalur Layouts (Zone C)
   • 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm – Davis Road, Cookson Road, North Road (Zone A)
   • 4:30 pm – 5:30 pm – Legion of Mary, SVP, Ladies of Charity, Youth, Catechism Children
   • 5:30 pm – 6:00 pm – Religious
   • 6:00 pm – Novena to Mother of Perpetual Help followed by Sunday Mass
   • Open for veneration until 9:00 pm
   • On Sunday:
     • 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm – Kariyanapalya & HBR Layout (Zone D)
     • 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm – Venkateshpuram & K G Halli (Zone B)
7. Society of St. Vincent de Paul is organizing sales of breakfast and lunch items on Sunday, 9^th February. Those who wish to sponsor food items may contact the Parish Clergy or any SSVP members.
8. The newly elected PPC members have been approved by the Archbishop. We congratulate them for their willingness to serve the parish. The installation will take place next Sunday at the 9:15 am Mass.
9. The First Holy Communion in Kannada will be held on 23^rd February.
10. The First Holy Communion in English will be held on 27^th April. Classes will be conducted:
    • Saturdays: 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm
    • Sundays: 10:30 am – 11:30 am (at Alphonsus Academy)

    Last date for registration: 15^th February 2025.

11. Registration forms for 1^st Holy Communion classes in Tamil are available at the parish office. The First Holy Communion in Tamil will be held in July.
12. The inauguration of the Women’s Cell will be on 8^th March.
13. Admissions for the Academic Year 2025-26 at St. Alphonsus Academy will open on 15^th February 2025 for students from Nursery to High School.
14. Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitefield, is celebrating their annual feast on 11^th February.
