4th Sunday of Advent

  1. There will be no evening Masses on 24th Wednesday. Christmas Vigil Masses with carols are as follows: 8.30 pm in English, 10.30 pm in Kannada, and 12.00 midnight in Tamil. On 25th Christmas Day, the morning Masses are as on Sunday. There will be an extra Mass in English at 12.15 pm and there will be no evening Masses.
  2. Feasts of the Week:
    • 26th Friday – St. Stephen
    • 27th Saturday – St. John, Apostle and Evangelist
  3. Parish Calendars for 2026 are available at the Parish Office. SCC leaders are requested to distribute them to each family. Those who wish to have an extra calendar may purchase it from the Parish Office.
  4. In view of Christmas celebrations, confessions will be heard on 22nd and 23rd from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon and from 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm. On 24th, confessions will be heard only from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon.
  5. Confessions for New Year preparation will be on 30th from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon and from 5.00 pm to 8.00 pm, and on 31st from 8.00 am to 12.00 noon.
  6. Next Sunday will be the Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.
  7. There will be no evening Masses on 31st Wednesday. There will be half an hour of Adoration from 8.30 pm to 9.00 pm in English followed by Mass in English; Adoration in Kannada from 10.30 pm to 10.45 pm followed by Mass in Kannada; and Adoration in Tamil at 12.00 midnight followed by Mass in Tamil. On New Year’s Day, the morning Masses are as on Sunday. There will be an extra Mass at 12.15 pm and no evening Masses.
  8. The Parish Office will be closed on 24th, 25th, and 26th December. From 27th to 30th December, the office will function for half a day only.
  9. The Feast of Mother of Perpetual Help will be celebrated on 25th January 2026. Contributions towards church decorations, float decorations, or feast expenses may be given at the Parish Office.
  10. There will be no English Catechism on 28th December 2025. Classes will reopen on 4th January 2026.
  11. “The Mummy and the Mumps”, a comedy play enacted by the Redemptorist Brothers at Mt. St. Alphonsus Seminary Auditorium. The proceeds will be used for charity, especially for children’s education. Kindly patronize.
  12. Bangalore North City Corporation will be administering Pulse Polio drops for all children below 5 years from 21st December to 24th December.
  13. As part of the Jubilee Year celebration, St. Thomas Church, HAL, has organized a unique exhibition of 1,500 relics of saints on 27th Saturday from 6.30 am to 7.00 pm.
