28^th Sunday in Ordinary Time

1. Feasts of the week:
   • 15^th – St. Teresa of Avila
   • 16^th – St. Gerard
   • 17^th – St. Ignatius of Antioch
   • 18^th – St. Luke
2. This week the stalls are occupied by the SCC groups of Pillana Garden 1^st Stage, Karianpalya and HBR Layout. Kindly patronize these stalls and support the missions. Your small contribution will surely be a great support for evangelization.
3. Next Sunday is Mission Sunday and the Mission Sunday calendars are at the Parish Office. We request the SCC leaders to collect and distribute them in your group. An envelope is also given to every family and you can drop in your mission contributions in the box kept at the entrance of the Church.
4. There will be three days of special Novena to St. Gerard Majella in preparation of the feast on 16^th October.
   • 13^th Monday – Novena to St. Gerard in Tamil at 6:30 pm.
   • 14^th Tuesday – Novena to St. Gerard Majella in English at 6:30 pm. (There will be no Tamil Mass on this day.)
   • 15^th Wednesday – Novena to St. Gerard in Kannada at 6:00 pm.
   • 16^th Thursday – Feast of St. Gerard Majella with Trilingual Mass at 6:15 pm.
5. There will be an extra Mass in English for the senior citizens at 12:00 pm on 19^th next Sunday. All are welcome.
6. The Government of Karnataka is conducting a Socio-Economic and Educational census. All Christians are urged to register themselves at the earliest so that our community is represented in State records and development plans. The last date for the completion of registration is 18^th October 2025. Religion is Christian and the Code is 272.
7. There will be a one-day retreat for the youth on 18^th October at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Halasuru. For more details kindly look at the notice board.
8. St. Jude Thaddeus Parish, Naganapalya, Maruthi Sevanagar is celebrating its feast on 26^th October 2025. In view of this there will be a flag hoisting on 17^th October and Novena Masses from 18^th to 25^th October at 5:45 pm. We have been invited to participate in these celebrations.
