Church Announcements
- Today we celebrate the feast of the Most Holy Redeemer. Wish you all a happy feast. It’s the titular feast of the Redemptorist congregation. On behalf of all the parishioners, we wish all the Redemptorists a very happy feast.
- Feasts of the week:
- 22nd, Monday is the feast of St. Mary Magdalene
- 23rd, Tuesday is the feast of St. Bridget of Sweden
- 25th, Thursday is the feast of St. James the Apostle
- 26th, Friday is the Feast of Sts. Joachim and Anne (World Day of Grandparents). Happy feast to the sisters of St. Anne’s of Luzern.
- We thank SCC groups from Bagalur Layouts and SCC groups from Lingarajapuram for organizing the food fest last Sunday. The total profit of the sale was Rs. 41,613/- which will be used for the education of poor children.
- Holy Ghost Church gives financial help to the college and degree students from poor families for their education. The scholarship forms will be distributed from next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday between 10:00 am to 12:30 pm only (22nd, 23rd and 24th of July 2024).
- The car parking will be inaugurated on 1st of August on the feast day of St. Alphonsus Maria Liguori at 10 am and it will be named as “Mother of Perpetual Help Car Avenue.” Kindly note the entry and exit on all Sundays will be only through John Armstrong Road and car parking will be strictly prohibited on Saturday evenings and Sundays in the Church Campus.
- St. Clement’s Pastoral Counselling Centre exists in Holy Ghost Church room no. 4. Counsellors are available for people in need from 5 pm to 7 pm from Monday to Saturday. Please make use of this pastoral service and tell others about it. For more details consult the notice board.
- Parish newsletter “Living Water” is printed and distributed outside the church. You can have a copy for your family.
