1. Today is Trinity Sunday. May The Holy Trinity dwell within each one of us.
2. Friday is the feast of the Visitation of the B.V.M.
3. A final announcement about the census: For those who have not yet submitted their forms, we are providing a final opportunity. There are desks being set up today from 8.00 to 1.00. And we ask all those who have not yet submitted the forms for the census to bring with you your family book along with a copy of proof of address to help the volunteers to fill in the data. The copy of proof of address is required for verification of whether you are within the parish boundaries.
4. Applications for first communion and confirmation will be given at the Parish Office this week also. Please bring the baptism certificates of the children in order to obtain a form. For those joining the English language groups there is a fee of Rs. 200/- This covers the costs of text books, Bible, candles, rosaries and gifts given for the occasion. Those who have difficulties in meeting this cost may apply for a concession.
5. Pope Francis has asked that, in celebration of this Year of Faith, the worldwide Catholic Church join him in celebrating a Holy Hour on Sunday, June 2, the Feast of the Body and Blood of Jesus, also known as Corpus Christi Sunday. The hour in India that corresponds to the Holy Hour in Rome is 8.30 to 9.30 p.m. The Church in India is being encouraged to join the Holy Father in prayer. The program for the Archdiocese of Bangalore is not yet finalized. But please make sure that you keep yourselves free next Sunday evening from 8.30 to 9.30 to join the worldwide hour of prayer. The actual program will be announced next Sunday.
6. The Kannada youth group are organizing a Book Drive next Sunday. If you have any school text books for classes one to ten to dispose of, kindly bring them with you next Sunday. This will benefit economically poorer students.
